hi boys and girls, for sale here is my 1998 yellow fiat cinquecento that has the engine professionaly swaped for an non coded engine from a 1995 1.2 8v punto that had 55k on it when the convesion was done.. the engine had a new cam belt, water pump and head gasket on the swap, also the car has had a new radiatour, 85c themostat instead of the standard 90c. also the car had new tires that still have 95% tred on.. it hade a new fuel tank and full exuast. the car has 92k on it and iv done 5k in one year of ownership.. the underside of the car has been undersealed and sprayed broom yellow the same as the car,
bad stuff: when we (my engineer father and I) boght the car, from manchester it had a fuel leak which we descovered was a rubber gromit that sleeves on the tank and the downpipe conects on to. it had a split so we got a new rubber gromit and fitted but for some reason it still leakes, not as bad but somthings not right, it might be a split in the downpipe or the exit on the tank isnt round, if you dont fill the take more then half or corner on two wheels then like me this hasnt been an isue, but if your going to carry kids on long jurnys then it will need sorting. the car is sorn as it was been used as a second car the the insurance was a killer, not because of the conversion (its still req as a 1.1) but because my no-clames is being used on our galaxy and having a second car you have to start a fresh no-clames account. 60 a month for the v6 galaxy 85 for the cinq!!!! i got the car last year becouse my fathers forth grandchild came and we needed a second mode of trasport so he insisted on buying a car, the reason for the sale is i have 5yers no-clames on the bike which is going to laps march 14 and and im getting qwotes of 85-100 a year for 600cc bikes.. oh yer sorry getting carryed away here, the cinqs front disks were swaped for punto ones and they stop the car well but in my opinon there still not up to the extra power 80bhp (55standard) olso on longer jurneys it could do with 6gears, the car has a mark on drivers door and small dent in rear o/s arch.. the bonet and boot have been sprayed and a slightly different shade but this is bearly noticeable. the mot runs out in nov and if i still have it by then il run it through (with qwater tank of fuel) and the price will be going up.. am open to SENSIBLE offers.. any ather questions just call (6am 9pm only please) or if no reply coz im working mutidrop just leve txt and il call back...
oh yer it had new rear drums and pads, new shocks and its lowered 40m but not sure what springs might be apex..all done on covesion
