JAVA Developer - Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire

I'm working with a Business technology solutions provider who are looking for a Java Developer to join their IT capability.

You will be fully responsible for designing, coding and testing all components within a Java and J2EE architecture.

Day to day responsibilities include:

- Engaging with clients to define solutions.
- Work closely with BA's and Architects to design solutions to meet both technical and business requirements.
- Code and test the components once they're designed.
- Assist with the deployment and admin of Technical Infrastructure.

Potential candidates will have:

- A proven background working in Object Oriented Analysis and Design.
- A minimum of 3 years experience with Java/J2EE application design, coding and implementation.
- Experience with the surrounding Web application technologies (CSS, Javascript, HTTP, Java Servlets, JSP, JMS etc.).

Additional experience in the following would be advantageous although NOT essential:

- Experience with UML design.
- Experience with Ajax.
