IMMEDIATE START!Salary: Competitive Temp to Perm! It's all about the right fit.Even in one of the most toughest employment markets, its always a task to source and identify the right people for your employer's business. As an HR or Recruitment Administrator, or perhaps even a PA/Secretary/Administrator with HR responsibilities, you will appreciate just how important this is.Working in a close-knit, loyal HR team at one of the region's most thriving legal practices, you will provide full administrative support at the highest level. This will not be a dull or routine administrative role; you will face lots of challenges and be encouraged to utilise your strong communication and organisational skills. It's also not a role for a person who wants a simple 9-5 job; flexibility to provide extra cover or work additional hours when the need arises will also be required and you will also need to occasionally travel to the Firm's other offices. There will also be times of additional pressure, with deadlines to meet, and you will be a confident person who is able to juggle such priorities. Fast and accurate typing speeds are required.Providing an HR and recruitment service to a firm with over 200 employees, spread across 5 offices, your role will involve assisting the HR Advisor and HR Director. You will liaise regularly with staff at all levels, including the Firm's partners and team leaders as well as outside consultancies, recruitment agencies, training and other suppliers. On a day to day basis, you will provide support on recruitment, induction, training, performance management, absence management and salary and benefit reviews. It is likely that you will have a couple of year's solid administration experience behind you from a professional services organisation or partnership and possess competent IT skills (perhaps even with a reputation for being somewhat of an "IT troubleshooter").Please note, however, this not a role for a person who is wishing to progress their career in law - this is very much for an individual who sees an opportunity to work in an HR Department. We are looking for someone who is available for an immediate start, willing to work in the post initially on a temporary basis, with a view to going permanent within a few weeks. At least two year's solid administration experience is sought as the post can be often very demanding and pressurised. On a permanent basis, the post offers a rewarding salary and benefits package to include 25 days holiday, pension, group life and health insurance. There are lots of social activities and a very supportive culture in terms of career development and training. Ideally, you will be a car driver/owner and mileage will be paid for at times when you are require to visit other offices.
