With a 50+ year history of leadership, their employees partner with customers in virtually every industry. They are currently looking to recruit a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join their team.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all Smart Connectivity products meet DFMA requirements. You will also manage the engineering aspect of new product introductions using internal manufacturing or external sub-contractors.

Your duties will include:

- Establishing manufacturing requirements for Smart Connectivity projects
- Providing data and support strategy for future developments
- Building and maintaining links with Smart Connectivity operations experts
- Delivering DFMA evaluations of competitor Smart Connectivity products
- Contributing to the production of technical literature to support Smart Connectivity product repairs

To be considered for this role, you must have:

- A manufacturing engineering degree and/or demonstrable hands-on process manufacturing experience, including new product introductions
- A track record of defining processes for development projects to time, cost, quality and risk
- Experience of working with AandD products
- Six Sigma or Lean PD experience
- An understanding of DFMA principles

Additionally, as a Manufacturing Engineer, you must be highly organised with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication and problem solving skills are also key.
