As a high technology engineering and manufacturing company, our client operates on all seven continents in three vital markets: water and fluids management, global defence and security, and motion and flow control. They are currently on the lookout for a Contracts Manager to join their team.

Working in an environment that encourages innovation, as a Contracts Manager, you will take ownership for all the companywide facets of customer supply contract information. This will include preparing proposals, data fact-finding, audits, negotiations and export control compliance.

Working with UK and foreign government agencies, prime contractors and 2nd tier sub-contractors, you will ensure robust, timely and accurate receipt, processing, communication, storage and reporting of all relevant contract information.

Your duties will include:

- Carrying out reviews of customer RFQs and contact TandCs
- Identifying contractual issues, analysing impact and ramifications and evaluating solutions
- Maintaining an in-depth familiarity of all details of assigned contracts
- Compiling and maintaining all contractual records and documents

To be considered for this role, you must have:

- Experience of working on MOD contracts
- Management experience
- Legal knowledge
- A degree in business and/or engineering

As a Contracts Manager, you will be fully IT literate. Strong analytical, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills are also prerequisites.
